Michael P. Rubino, Registered Financial Consultant
Chief Executive Officer


Michael P. Rubino, Registered Financial Consultant, is Chief Executive Officer of the Rubino Financial Group, a Master Certified member of the H.S. Dent Advisors Network, and regular contributor on CNBC, as well as many other national and local media outlets.  He has been providing sound financial advice and educating investors since 1983.   The office he established and currently oversees as Branch Manager with Centaurus Financial has been one of the most successful offices nationally.   Mr. Rubino most recently founded and manages a corporation, Brokerage Design and Development Inc., dedicated to training financial advisors nationwide in net tax planning and business organization.   

Michael is a national speaker and a regular speaker/educator for the H.S. Dent foundation, The Learning Institute for Financial Executives, Brokerage Design and Development, and CNBC.  He offers Financial Strategies for Successful Retirement, a program offered to the public as well as corporations to educate people in how to plan, implement and succeed in obtaining financial security for their futures.

Michael completed his undergraduate work at Oakland University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management with a concentration in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.  He has earned many awards recognizing his commitment to the Financial Services Profession, including the Dalbar Financial Professional Seal.  This national award recognizes financial professionals who have met standards for qualification from the Securities and Exchange Commission and  achieved excellence in areas of client trust, financial results, and quality of advice and client satisfaction.


Sara Hoffmann
Director of Branch Operations

Sara’s primary responsibilities include assisting Mr. Rubino in the management of clients’ accounts, writing of new business and maintaining clients’ accounts.  Sara has over 15 years of experience in the areas of operations and finance.  In her spare time, Sara enjoys spending time with her family, playing the piano, reading and cooking.



Nicole Rubino
Client Administrative Manager

Nicole is proud to be working with her father, Michael Rubino, serving the needs of clients at Rubino Financial. She brings 12 years of experience in management, business administration, marketing and financial services.  Nicole works in conjunction with Sara and Scott to establish and maintain client accounts, as well as, research and implement innovation solutions to streamline administrative processes. Majoring in Business Adminstration/Marketing, she earned her BS from Aquinas College and her MBA at Oakland University. In her free time, Nicole spends her time tending her chickens and bees on her hobby farm in Auburn Hills. She also enjoys foraging in the woods, kayaking, yoga and traveling around the world.



R. Scott Jacob
Client Administrative Associate

Scott has over 25 years of experience fundraising, marketing and managing the business activities for several arts organizations, including a symphony orchestra, a botanical garden and a cultural council in South Carolina, where he resided for 14 years. He holds a BA in History from Temple University in Philadelphia, where he also directed educational programs for the American Institute of Architects. In his free time, Scott enjoys gardening, travel and exploring historic communities and museums.
